I bought these pins not to pin down artificial grass but to pin down weed-suppressant fabric under gravel for my new front garden. They are sturdy and did the job perfectly. I bought an extra pack for my Allotment and have found then much better for pinning down plant protection than the usual, much thinner pins you find at garden centres. They have many other uses, including pinning down strawberry runners, and securing chicken wire to the ground for plant support. a very good buy.

These pegs are easy to tap in securing membrane,only one snapped at head (used in early may when soil wasn't solid) they have a decent sized head which makes joining different sheets of membrane easy, so fit for purpose and don't think they'll need replacing.

The 39 pegs received were good, realising my package was 11 pegs short but Amazon couldn’t replace missing items. The only option was return for refund or return for replacement for the 50 I should have had. Unfortunately I couldn’t pursue this as I had already used four of the ones I had received to hold something down and they had soil on.
