This is a very good product however not the easiest to install. Its very hard to get some of the pins in as either the holes are to small or pins to large. I have used it previously so had learnt by my mistakes. As my flower beds are curved and already cut it makes it harder to fit. It would be ideal for a newly laid area. I would still recommend this product, it is tough and you can even mow over it. Once its down it stays there for years. A bit pricey .

No dislikes at all. Used this product on our last garden, metres and metres of it. Moved house, need to make the lawns look good so bought more. A good product which wethers and wears well. Had to buy black coloured whereas before bought green, which I feel is much more in keeping with the green of the grass. Overall an excellent product.

Previously used this product over the past ten years. In the past it was fiddly to lay but well made and very sturdy. We have just purchased 30m and discovered there is a manufacturing fault in this batch. The securing pins are MUCH bigger than the holes they are supposed to go through! This renders the fixing system USELESS. The only way we can get this installed is to drill out every hole manually. VERY difficult as there is almost no material to drill into. So disgusted. Extremely poor quality control in manufacture - this is such a basic failing I am actually wondering if this is a counterfeit product. Seriously tempted to box up the other 20m again and return that lot. There must be better products out there. Avoid.

Hard to Please
I had some brown smart edge left over from a few years ago which I used for a job I am doing now and required more. I asked for brown edging but black is what I received could not be bothered with the Hassel of returning and waiting for a replacement. I found this time to install was a lot harder due to the holes on the A frame are to small for the pegs. I had drill the hole slightly bigger everytime, this issue should be looked into and sorted

If you get your edges absolutely vertical, the right depth and remove all stones then this works fairly well. The pins are a bit of a joke - Christmas cracker quality with a high failure rate but it seems to stay in place anyway. Will be interesting to see what the lawnmower makes of it. Not sure I'd buy it again - there must be easier options.
