Have used these to peg down the membrane to go under slate shingles on garden paths. They are good value for money. The metal bits are well made - yes some do bend when you hammer them in - but only when they meet resistance like a stone and you can bend back and use again. The plastic bits I didn’t use at first - but soon realised they were excellent for holding down the membrane at the sides and on joins. Would definitely recommend- and have bought about 6 boxes as we are redoing a big garden.

Well, of course they rust in the ground but they do the desired job, which is to hold down the permeable membrane firmly - in my case, on an allotment for about a year, but they'll probably last longer than the actual membrane! You can still use them both again, even when they've gone a bit rusty and tatty. Be careful how you bash them in, they can bend if you're not careful - just get the angle right.

Happy with product. Pegs were sturdy and sharp ends made them easy to drive. They are strong and durable. Only issue I had was that I ordered a box of 100 but only received a box of 50. I thought this was an error the first time but it happened again when I ordered a second box. It wasn't worth my while returning them as postage would have been more expensive than ordering another product.
