Was absolutely a great gift. We bought it for our grandson 5 & granddaughter 7. Their parents are teaching them to golf. Both of the were able to make it from the furthest spot, of course it took time. Lol. It laid flat which was wonderful. Happy with the bag for storage and the ball return was great too. I bought some foam balls, but regular ball work not foam. It also came with regular ball. Overall a GREAT GIFT!! Just need a putter.

The mat is actually really nice and well made but the ball return is super cheap and sounds like it is going to break at any time. I If you don't really care about the ball return device then I would recommend this putting mat. I have looked at the other auto ball returns available on Amazon and I'm actually not sure there is a well made one out there. I ended up getting a less expensive mat and ordering a used, plug in, ball return on ebay
