Very pleased with this, I bought a different make from a bargain store for £25 and no matter how much special sand I brush over it, it still lays flat and looks cheap, this 30mm high density grass didn't need special treatment as the grass stands up on it's own, it's a good density, ok it's not going to be top quality like the expensive ones you can buy, but considering this is only £4 more than the one I bought from the bargain store I have to admit my hubby and I are seriously considering buying more, we have a large dirt patch that gets muddy when wet, so decided to cover it with this, with a thin layer of sand underneath it's turned out really well, just keeping our fingers crossed it's robust enough to last a while.

This is a decent quality piece of faux turf. We haven't laid it, but used it as a mat in various areas around the garden as required during this hot summer when socialising and an enthusiastic ball chasing dog have destroyed our attempts at lawn. I would really recommend using fake turf in this way and retaining the possibility of a real lawn when weather allows. It has been really useful, is very hard wearing and looks fun, provided a nice surface for kids and animals to sit and play on and made the area more pleasing for gatherings without fully committing to artificial grass. It has also provided the bare soil with some protection from compaction during use. During the winter it will be used to provide a non/less muddy area under our rotary clothes line prior to next years planned paving project. It looks fairly realistic against natural grass now having had some autumn rain, although it has been obviously fake against the remainder of our former lawn that became scorched earth this summer. The grass itself is thick, soft and has a variety of shades so looks acceptably realistic and several levels above the green stuff grocers used to line their shelves with. This piece of turf is long enough to use as a path but i have cut it into two so the two parts can also be used next to each other to provide a decent sized lawn area ( great success both at social barbecues and to provide a temporary lawn and sitting area by our swing chairs. I really would recommend having a grass mat to use as required when your grass isn't up to scratch, rather than removing any hope of a real lawn, which is a joyous thing in itself and much more ecologically agreeable.

The WADOODI High-Density Premium Artificial Grass arrives in mat form and is 1m in width and 4m in length. I ordered the Mat as a trial run to see if i want to replace my grass with this as my grass is forever getting trashed by the trees at the rear of the garden. I had chosen this particular grass as it's a good size and thickness. Unfortunately when unravelling it and laying it out i don't feel the pile is as thick as suggested. The mat feels okay, lays out flat easily and has a breathable membrane integrated to help dispel water. The mat feels quite robust and has a finished edge and the other side for tucking away or being overlapped by another piece of artificial grass. One thing i like is that this grass is a nice shade of green and it's nice to see it hasn't faded either. I like that the grass is easy to clean too, debris simply sweeps of the top too. Overall this grass is well made, feels pretty good quality and durable, i don't feel it's as thick as advertised however it does feel like good quality.

Although the listing claims this artificial grass is “realistic looking” and “looks and feels like real grass” it really doesn’t. It does have two different coloured strands in it so looks less fake than some, and it isn’t too uncomfortable on your feet, but no-one is going to be fooled, even from a distance. At the current price of £28.99 for 1mx4m of 30mm deep pile the price is fine for what you get. If the listing wasn’t trying to oversell the product I would have awarded it 5 stars, but as the item isn’t quite as described it is only worthy of 3.

We've got an area at the side of the house that always gets weeds growing and I was looking for something to finish it off smart - so I after pulling all the weeds out I laid a weed stopping material but it needed something else to make it look finished so I got this artificial grass runner. Surprisingly it arrives as a roll in a rectangular cardboard box with cling film to hold it in place - so I laid it our for 24 hours and gave it a quick brush just to get it to the finish I wanted. Really easy to fit and has a rubber backing so is breathable allowing the rain to soak through. I finished the edging off with some big white pebbles which give a lovely contrast and definitley now gives that area a finished look. Its available in 2 different lengths (1 metre or 4 metres) and 2 depths - 20mm or 30 millimetres - I got the 4 metre length in 30 mm depth and I am very please with the quality and thickness of it - looks great. I've never had artificial grass before so I'm not sure if I need to do anything specific to look after it but I'll keep my eye on it.
