So far its doing a good job. Would definitely fool most livestock from a distance. Very easy to lay and cuts easily with a small craft knife. Hopefully looks as good in a years time after the elements have played with it. Was slightly shorter than advertised though, but thankfully I ordered a bit more than I needed, and it JUST fit the space with a couple inches to spare when I should have had at least 20”

Wouldn't buy this again, it's as thin as paper, doesn't look like pic on site. The backing isn't great, I'll be surprised if the backing lasts a year with the rain. Not great quality at all. Wouldn't buy again.

Artificial lawn can be - more expensive to lay than natural lawn. - higher maintenance than real grass. You will have to wash, brush or even hoover it regularly because naturally occurring dirt and bacteria stay on the surface (instead of harmlessly biodegrading as they do on real grass), causing bad smells and hygiene problems. Special brushes, vacuum cleaners & cleaning products = more expense! - cause drainage problems & increase flood risks on your property because it cannot absorb rainwater as effectively as real grass. - absorb far more heat than real grass, and become unbearably hot. Some manufacturers even recommend buying awnings or shade sails to reduce heat, or hosing down the lawn – more expense! - cause friction burns and scorching. Independent studies report that play-related injury risk rates on artificial sports pitches are 88% higher and the risk of serious concussion is 22% higher than on real turf. - nonrecyclable and doesn't properly biodegrade. As it breaks down, plastic particles are released into your garden, into the local ecosystem, and into our waterways, potentially damaging the environment & human health. - create an inorganic barrier over the soil, which can kill soil life eg, earthworms. This has a knock-on effect on the garden birds and mammals who rely on them as a food source. It can also harm the quality of the soil (which may cause you problems if you decide to replant that area in a few years time.) British ecosystems are already severely under threat and fashions like artificial lawn and hard-standing make the situation even worse. Please explore alternatives before you buy artificial turf. There are many alternatives to a traditional grass lawn which won't cost the earth, or your wallet, and any experienced gardener in your area should be willing and able to make suggestions (tapestry lawn, mini-meadow, gravel garden, xeriscaping, planted paving, etc etc) Skilled gardeners can be found by checking accredited professional or guild websites, contacting your local public gardens, or messaging local gardening groups on social media.
