Loved this astro turf. I was replacing some older astro and the difference was amazing. Easy to lay, looks really nice good deep colour, had to brush the pile and it looked great really soft to walk on , really impressed and at a good price would recommend

I have amended the review. Issues with the courier but the Tuda have tried their best to accommodate me - with thanks specifically to Vicky for her efforts. The grass itself is very nice for the price (to clarify, I believe if it was 15%+- more expensive, it would still be good quality/value at that price point. Thick and densely packed. Much thicker than the rolls I was going to buy from The Range, which was also significantly more costly than this grass roll. It also feels nicer to the touch. Brushed up, added some lawn sand and it looks very nice. It appears to have sufficient holes in the backing to allow water to escape - I will note that you cannot see any part of the backing when you are stood on the grass. Definitely would recommend this artificial grass and Tuda themselves. Less so the courier.

I ordered a fairly large size to cover the entirety of my decking area mainly for my dog to play on. It's been about a month now and I'm happy with the purchase. To lay it, it was like a massive roll of carpet underlay but instead of the rubber on top you would have with that, you get what feels like Christmas tree bristles in a decent density as you can see in the picture. It did clump up in areas that weren't flat much like a carpet would so I recommend considering a carpet stretcher if you have any complex areas to cut around. It can be cut easily with a Stanley knife and I used a heavy duty stapler to attach it to my decking which worked well. In terms of other reviews saying lots of grass kept coming off it, all I can say is I didn't have that issue so much. For the first day or so I had about a handful of it coming up but since then I find like one piece of grass every week. It comes rolled up and cling filmed together like a carpet roll which means initially all the grass is flat and facing the same direction. Don't bother messing with it because after a couple of weeks of wind and rain etc it sorts itself out and looks more natural. It is still a lighter green than actual grass but it's not an unnatural looking colour and it will also likely fade with time. The only reason for a 4 star is because of the fact it does retain water a fair amount. It would really have benefitted from a more porous bottom on it to let more water out. Considering I have it elevated on decking, it holds enough water that it will still soak my dog laying on it after a full day of sun. Aside from that, it is fairly expensive too but I'd say in my use case it was worth the money so far. If anything changes I will update the review but so far so good.
